FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • If it feels like a good fit, I’ll send everything through. Once the deposit’s sorted, your date is locked in and we’re good to go.

  • The main one is the Notice of Intended Marriage. You’ll also need ID, usually a passport, or a birth certificate plus photo ID. If either of you has been married before, I’ll also need your divorce paperwork or a death certificate.

  • Absolutely. You’ll still need to say the legal words, but your personal vows are where you can make it feel like you. Sweet, chaotic, funny, emotional, all good. I can help if you want guidance, edits, or a starting point that doesn’t sound like it came from the internet.

  • Yep! two of them, both over 18. They can be friends, family, or anyone else you trust to witness the ceremony and sign the paperwork.

  • You go celebrate. I handle the lodgement. I submit the legal paperwork to Births, Deaths and Marriages, and you’ll get a ceremonial certificate on the day. If you need the official marriage certificate afterwards, that gets ordered through Births, Deaths and Marriages.
